Building Dreams……Building Champions

GAYA is dedicated to helping our Youth realize their goals and dreams…..in riding, in school, and in every day life!  We want our Youth to go above and beyond even their own expectations to reach their full potential.

No matter their level of expertise, every rider deserves their 15 minutes of fame in the show pen!  We encourage our riders to participate in both local open breed shows, as well as taking their showing to the next level by traveling the Appaloosa Horse Club circuit.

Education is top of mind for our Youth Members!  Nothing will take you farther in life than a good education.  At our Annual Awards Banquet , not only do we recognize our Youth for their showing successes, we also recognize their academic accomplishments!

What better way to help our Youth become Champions in life than by helping others?  In 2007 our Youth Members participated in several Community Service Projects.

• We helped those in need by stocking the local food pantry at Helping In His Name Ministries.
• In October, which is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a group of Youth Members and their parents participated in the Atlanta Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk-a-thon.  We exceeded our fundraising goal by raising over $2,700 to help in the fight against breast cancer!
• Our Youth brightened Christmas morning for 11 deserving children by donating Christmas gifts.  They also adopted a family and provided gift cards which allowed a single mother to purchase Christmas dinner and gifts for her children.
